Team Work

This term Russley kids have a team work focus, so this week Room 14 worked as teams making robots out of shapes....

... and teamwork with robots.
We experimented with the new bee bot robots. We will be learning to code them to do all kinds of challenges but this week we worked in groups of 3, two kids and one robot, to see what we could do.

Frogs and Fire trucks

This week we have been learning about the letter F.

Look at our frogs and frog life cycle. We even learned a big word - metamorphosis!

We coloured a fire engine very carefully and then we had fun making them come alive using an app on the ipads. We could drive them around, move the ladder up and down and even and squirt water! Here are some of our fire engines in action.

Busy Week and two new members of Room 14!

We have packed a lot into the last week of term... and all in just 3 days because we were closed for several days due to the fire.

Firemen installed our new fire alarm and we enjoyed lots of fun at developmental.

Jump Jam with the other classes, popcorn and movies, iceblock afternoon treat and a lamb visit.

Friday Funday afternoon; Mia's pre-school visit, sausages, bouncy castles and the firemen's 'Get Down Get Low Get Out FAST' maze.

The swimming timetable is very busy. We really have to be very speedy to catch the bus before it returns to school to get another class. Not only are the children amazing in the water, they are amazing at dressing and getting to the bus on time. Many thanks to the wonderful parents who help us be so awesome.
