We have had 5 exciting weeks flipping and tumbling. We have been developing our coordination, balance and gymnastic skills. Such a lot of learning and such a lot of fun!

Science in Action
Each week we get a science kit with all sorts of scientific activities and experiments. This week's topic was nano technology. We made flubber by combining solids and liquids.
It was just like magic- only it wasn't; it was science!

Little Helpers
We love the autumn leaves. We looked at all the different shapes and chose 1 leaf to do a leaf rubbing with. In this video we are helping Mr Griffiths collect the leaves from outside Room 14.

Helicopters and hedgehogs
H week in Room 14.
We listened very carefully to make these helicopters. We found out that helicopters can be used to help people. We watched people being rescued and fires being put out.

Introducing the Beebots and Computational Thinking
For the last few weeks we have been practising drawing arrows for a very important reason.... so we can programme the beebots!
We have to make a programme for the robots using forward, backward, turn left and turn right commands. We plan our programme on our whiteboards and them input it into our beebotsWe were so excited to see our beebots in action. What a way to finish Term 1 2021!

Blowing Bubbles
We made bubble mixtures in groups. Then we tested to see which detergent made the best bubbles.
After lots of testing, most of us thought the yellow detergent was the best.
